Marathi Shala
Apali Marathi Shala is in operation since 2011-2012.
Objects of Apali Marathi Shala:
- To initiate literacy, educational, and charitable activities which include promotion of art and theatre related to the culture, traditions, and the language of the state of Maharashtra.
- To promote Maharashtrian culture, tradition, and Marathi language into the younger generation.
- To follow the standard curriculum across all branches of Marathi Shala
- To get funding to run the program smoothly (buy resources, books, etc each year.)
- To get funding to remunerate teachers and volunteers for the work they do.
The School is operated from below locations:
- Garden City Library, Upper Mount Gravatt (Second Saturday of Month)
- Ashgrove Library, Ashgrove (Last Saturday of Month)
