Brisbane Maharashtra Mandal (BRIMM) acknowledges the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples cultures and their custodial relationship to the traditional land of this country.
Incorporated in 2005, Brisbane Maharashtra Mandal (BRIMM) is a community organization based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, that endeavours to promote Maharashtrian culture through various performing arts such as drama, music, dance and other social activities, in and around South East Queensland.
BRIMM aims to contribute towards facilitation and integration of Maharashtrian community by initiating, managing, and participating in various initiatives. BRIMM acknowledges the multicultural Australia and will act as a representative of Maharashtrian community to present their views and voice to the broader multicultural communities and all levels of Government.
BRIMM hosts several events annually, of which the Ganesh Utsav and Diwali celebrations are very popular and get an overwhelming response from members and their families. BRIMM has invited various popular artists from Maharashtra to interact with their members on multiple occasions in the past.

The objects of the association are:
- To integrate Maharashtrian community with general Indian community and wider Australian society
- To assist and support integration of newly arriving Maharashtrians in Queensland
- To initiate literacy, educational, and charitable activities which include promotion of art and theatre related to the culture, traditions, and the language of the state of Maharashtra
- To promote Maharashtrian culture, tradition, and Marathi language into the younger generation.

Known popularly as BRIMM, the organisation endeavours to promote Maharashtrian culture through performing arts such as
drama, music, dance and other social activities in and around
South East Queensland. BRIMM hosts three or four events in a
year like Ganesh Utsav, Diwali celebrations. In the past BRIMM has invited popular artists from Maharashtra like Mr Dilip
Prabhavalkar, Mrs Vandana Gupte. We invite people who are interested in Maharashtra and it’s rich culture to come
join us and celebrate!
